Fibrwrap Construction, Inc. was founded in 1988 as the applicator of Fyfe Company, LLC Tyfo® Fibrwrap®. Mr. Edward Fyfe started the Fyfe Company in 1988 with the idea to strengthen deficient bridge columns in California using aerospace materials. Today, Mr. Fyfe is recognized around the world as the pioneer of the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) structural strengthening industry with over 40 patents in the field. 
Since 1988, The TYFO® Products and Fibrwrap® Systems have been tested and proven for predictable structural performance and environmental durability. Thousands of structural and material tests, both destructive and non-destructive, have been performed on the TYFO® Fibrwrap® Systems. These include both full and large-scale structural testing for a variety of design goals, long-term environmental durability testing and in-situ testing of actual installations.
TYFO® Fibrwrap® Systems have been reviewed and approved by more independent authorities than any other supplier. The result is a reliable composite strengthening system with more approvals and demonstrated and proven installations than any other company in the industry.
Tyfo® Fibrwrap® is the only Fiber Reinforced Polymer product on the market to achieve an ICC Report, ESR-2103, with 2006 IBC compliance. This is important because it allows structural engineers the confidence to know that International Code Council has evaluated and is satisfied that Fyfe Company products meet this latest code.
Beyond structural strengthening Fyfe Company has also pioneered fireproofing systems which are applied over Tyfo® products. The Tyfo® Advanced Fire Protection (AFP) has a 4-hour rating which is essential in certain projects.
Once again, Fyfe Company is the only manufacturer of Fiber Reinforced Polymer products to offer these groundbreaking products. Tyfo® products are also available which meet Class I Flame and Smoke, and 2 hour UL Listing.
