Project Description: The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems were installed to fulfill a number of design requirements as part of an extensive expansion and renovation of the San Diego City College, Building P Gymnasium.
Solution: The Tyfo® SCH-41 Composite System was installed on beams and slabs to provide additional positive flexural strength due to new gravity loads from mechanical units. The Tyfo® SEH-51A System was used to strengthen reinforced concrete walls to fulfill stabilization and life safety requirements.
Summary: The Tyfo® AFP System was applied on the beams and slabs to achieve a UL 2-hour fire-rated assembly.
Fibrwrap® Construction, Inc. performed the successful installation of the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® as the Fyfe Co. LLC certified applicator.
